On an iPhone or iPad?
Straight talk: Apple doesn't let anyone fully control an iPhone from far away — honestly, a good thing. So we do it the easy way.
-
Text me first
Most iPhone and iPad problems get fixed over a quick call — text me what's going on and I'll ring you right back.
-
If I need to see your screen
We'll switch to a FaceTime video call. Then: tap your screen once, tap the share button (a rectangle with a little person in front), and tap Share My Screen. I can see — never touch — and I'll tell you exactly where to tap.
-
Computer trouble too?
If the real problem is on your computer, open nick.support there and we'll use the normal three steps.
There's no nine-digit code on iPhone — that part is for computers and Android phones.
